Either way, I was talking to The Artiste who mentioned he was becoming concerned about the number and quality of competing image generating platforms; TheFacebook released one that was pretty solid and even Microsoft Paint has it integrated for fucks sake.

<aside> 💡 Side note: in realizing that I hadn’t added TheFacebook to our OPPs list, I also learned their original goal was to create “a directory of information for college students”. Which, honestly, would have been a better focus than their actual result of “ruin the internet”. Just kidding, that was Google. But, spoiler alert, that’s vaguely along the lines of what I’m thinking here for this jawn.

To which I said, well, duh, as I said in the Vision, open source is currently getting dominated by these closed source jokers; that is why we’re aiming well beyond image generating to building a Reddit for creating instead of a Reddit for hating (Hip Hopera when?). Also, they’ll inevitably stop innovating and will focus on squeezing the debt out of their consumers so, like, fuck em.

But within that conversation, The Artiste suggested we (read:he) should create something simple that would be easier for a wider number of people to find value from, like a better to do app or something. Then, the next morning I messaged him and was like

HEY! I HAD THIS BRILLIANT IDEA COME TO ME IN A DREAM. WHAT IF WE MAKE…GET THIS…ARE YOU READY THIS…LIKE A BETTER TO DO APP OR SOMETHING?!

That’s right, kids, the greatest innovators shamelessly steal and then gaslight the fuck out of their victims into agreeing that it was their unique idea all along. Take notes.

Which, obviously if you’ve read any of this so far, it wouldn’t be JUST a better to do app. No no, this would be THE to do app for solving all the worlds problems. Because, is it even possible to solve something if you don’t make a list about it first? Doubt it.
