I didn’t write anything here yet but wanted to link over to this compression concept for future reference. But, in short, a Metadata content type (which, yes, I realize this already exists, though I feel like it’s a misnomer so whatever) would be like a larger content type that could supplant email (or images or whatever, as an example) while having a single source of truth for the original file. This is a terrible explanation but I’m really not intending to write about this at this moment, so it will suffice for now. It would also have relations between content with the ability to track the origin of how content (or ideas) are created and propagate throughout society.
