The Progressive Coders Network - or, progcode, as the kids who think they’re cool like to say - is an independent, nonprofit community of open source developers working to support the grassroots. Their original mission was:
Create open source tools to empower the grassroots to remove big money’s influence in politics.
But then at least some of them realized that politics was bullshit and the root enabler for most of society’s problems, so they condensed their vision to:
Remove Politics
In addition to that, they came away with an evolved mission which may be familiar if you’ve read the Vision:
Now, I’m going to spare you a diatribe about Marx or socialism or what “Progressive” even means or any of that shenanigans…that’s not the point of this project. But, suffice to say, society faces countless problems and there are many hard working people out there who believe open access to technology and digital information could be critical in addressing them.

From a personal level, and the thing I hope we can capture here, is the energy with which progcode was born and continued to evolve. After Bernie got played by the machine, a couple hundred volunteers from the Coders For Sanders subreddit splintered off to form a new community with the aforementioned mission in supporting the grassroots.
Honestly, these were all delightful
Prior to progcode getting further splintered by identity politics and becoming the Trump Resistance Network slash the Covertly Supporting the DNC Propaganda Network, there was a period of time where something truly magical and unlike anything ever experienced throughout human history was happening…people were working together.
